A little black dress is considered to be a must-have by many women. However in this day and age, Artist Nicole Dextras is proposing that every woman should own at least one item of clothing that is made in a "sustainable and equitable manner." Her latest installation The Little Green Dress Projekt is comprised of 21 green dresses made entirely from fresh and organic materials to promote environmental awareness and at the same time, to offer a practical way for people to put that awareness into practice in daily life.
These gorgeous botanical dresses were installed at VanDusen Botanical Garden as part of the Earth Art Exhibition (July 11 – September 30, 2012). Visit here for more photos.
