This is ingenious. A group of local boatmen in in Dhaka, Bangladesh has come up with an incredibly creative way to move on the Buriganga River while it's temporarily over-grown with water hyacinth. This DIY floating bridge is consisted of 34 wooden dinghies. Each person is charged a fee of Taka 2 (USD$0.02) to cross, which provides the boatmen with an alternative source of income until they can resume boating.
