Inspired by an apparatus created by Dr. Harold Daw in 1984 for showing the eigenmodes in fire, sound visualist Jared Ficklin creates his own version of Flame Table that lets us visualize music using fire. The background music is the song Slurpy by Geoff Farina. It has plenty of pure tones at the resonant frequencies, which allows some of the eigenmodes to be expressed.
