Berlin-based Alice Zappe and Julia Lager has created a musical umbrella which detects falling raindrops and turns them into 8-bit music. They connected 12 touch-sensitive sensors to a simple circuit board. Each sensor responds to a raindrop with a unique beep that makes walking in the rain a fun thing to do.
