Public Art Fund presents Paola Pivi’s latest kinetic sculpture, How I Roll, in Doris C. Freedman Plaza, Central Park, New York City. IIn this new work, a six-seat passenger plane has been modified, enabling it to rotate through 360 degrees while supported at its wing tips by vertical steel posts. The work captures Pivi’s fascination with industrial machines that are also capable of unexpected transformation into captivating, artistic objects. How I Roll is her first public art project in the United States.
