Next-generation vending machine concept with see-through display

This concept model of the next-generation vending machine has a vertical, 65-inch, Full HD transparent display. The customers can get a clear look of what is inside the vending machine, and at the same time read related text, pictures, and Flash animations on the display.

Uses the Intel SandyBridge Core, this machine features Audience Impression Metric, or AIM, and can do anonymous face recognition. So it can tell whether customers are male or female, or old or young. The developer also suggests that the vending machine could be used to purchase luxury items, such as cosmetics and wine.
