Japanese artist and animator Shishi Yamazaki has created short films with a highly distinctive style that has captivated the heart of many. In this short film YA-NE-SEN a Go Go, you'll see her character dancing through Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi area in Taito-Ku, Tokyo in fluid motion. Her choice of muted palette and watercolors really brings out the essence of YA-NE-SEN, an area where the traditional Japanese atmosphere still lingers.
Check out another one of her terrific short films Handsome Mask, which is selected for IdN's 2011 best collection
