The idea for the LuminAID solar light originated in a design studio at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture. The studio was focused on designing disaster relief aid and infrastructure for post-earthquake Haiti. The LuminAID solar light inflates to produce a quality of light similar to a lantern. It provides 5 hours of light and can be fully charged in 6 hours. When inflated, the LuminAID solar light can float. Check out the video to learn more about this durable and easy-to-use product.
