The first Wind Painting suddenly gave me the extraordinary sense of living my art rather than creating it. ~ Bob Verschueren
Bob Verschueren's Wind Painting was born out of his dissatisfaction with the limitation of the canvas. It was 1978 when Verschueren first turned the landscape into his canvas and the wind into his paintbrush. Natural pigments are spread across the landscape going which ever way the wind blows. There is something eternally free and liberating about this method that just begs for further investigation into the human psyche.
