The Reading Cloud is an interactive installation made of Tyvek by Barcelona-based designer Martín Azúa. Large sheets of Tyvek are frequently used as "house wrap" to provide a water barrier between the outer cladding of a structure and the frame, insulation, etc., allowing water vapor to pass yet restricting air infiltration. The cloud moves when people pull the books hanging from it.
This installation was exhibited at CA2M (Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo) in Madrid. It was created for the library in CA2M, where architects, designers and artists could put together ideas about more interactive spaces and furniture, and finally execute one of them.
