File Extension PSD

PSD is a file extension used by Adobe Photoshop to store its graphics files. Adobe Photoshop is a de-facto standard in a raster image editing software. First version of Photoshop was developed in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. It was subsequently sold to Adobe Systems which owned it since then.

File Extension JSON

JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is a format used to store structured data in JavaScript derived data format. JSON was designed by Douglas Crockford while his work in State Software. JSON at that time was designed to exchange application state information between web application and back-end server.

PAGES if a file extension used by Apple Pages word processing software. Apple Pages was initially released for Mac OS in 2005. It is distributed as part of iWork Suite and also as an individual application. Apple Pages is integrated with iCloud service and allows editing documents on any device using web browser.

CDR is a file extension used by CorelDraw application. CorelDraw is a well-known vector editing software. Its initial version was released in January 1989 for Windows 2.0 and since then more than 20 versions of CorelDraw were released. At this time CorelDraw is available in desktop versions for Windows and Mac OS operating systems.

File with DOWNLOAD file extension usually contains an incomplete download started by Apple Safari web browser. Apple Safari adds .DOWNLOAD file extension to a file name when it starts downloading. When downloading process is done .DOWNLOAD file extension removed from the file name.

File Extension DST

A DST file is used for Tajima embroidery machines. Any file that carries the DST extension is an image created by software that modifies common image files such as JPG, GIF or TIF for a readable format for embroidery machines.

File Extension STP

A file with an STP extension contains the 3D object project that meets the standards of the STEP format (Standard for exchanging product data). STP files are similar to STEP files in terms of structure and format, STEP is just less used.
