The Frankfurt Motor Show is devoting an entire exhibition hall to electric cars this year. BMW also chooses this year to present its eco-friendly electric i3, which saves weight through its high-tech carbon-reinforced plastic, and its i8 hybrid sports car. Both will be available at dealerships starting in late 2013. It's not hard to imagine the buzz this new electric car is creating. This Beamer has got the look to win over the mainstream market, let's hope it is enough for the electric car to go all the way.
