Architect Louis Sicard living in Spain worked with the French Baptiste Bonijoly to create a project called Portes de l’Espace. A series of 8 wooden doorways tethered to the ground with light foundations erected on the Plaines Brûlées [burnt plains] plateau. These gateways opening up to a vast emptiness, which gives us something to think about, such as the meaning of space.
