The Nebula Necklace by designer Lara Knutson is inspired by bioluminescence, iridescence, and things reflective in nature. The necklace is made of microscopic reflective glass beads that form a lightweight fabric, which transforms into luminescent silver strands when hit by light. The glass casts yellow light onto the skin while the reflective glass fabric reflects light at everyone in the room.
The necklace is adorned with opalescent glass beads and finished with a sterling-silver magnetic clasp. Nebula with Opalescent Glass is now available at the MoMA Design Store.
